hi :-) my name is maya, i'm an artist from toronto currently studying illustration at OCADU. i work with a variety of different media, often combining analogue scans and textures within my digital pieces and exploring all kinds of unconventional ways to bring my visions to life. my art is heavily inspired by the things i love, including history, nature, vintage fashion, old magazines, and mixed-media animation and films. i primarily create digital artworks, but I also dabble in painting, paper art, collage, screenprinting, and risograph printing.
